The central location makes it easy to gamble anywhere — the hotel is connected via pedestrian bridges to MGM Grand and Excalibur. The basic contemporary rooms have fresh tropical style; guests should stay in the Paradise Tower to be close to the Strip or the Club Tower to be close to the pool or our meeting rooms.

How to Get Around
There is a free tram that runs from 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM, 7 days a week, and stops at Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The return trip FROM Mandalay Bay skips Luxor. This tram runs every 10 minutes, and with multiple stops, and long-ish walk at the end, you might prefer to Uber it. Uber and Lyft both charge a base fare of $2.40, $0.30 per minute, and $1.85 per mile. Your ride needs to cost a minimum of $5.00, and if you cancel, there’s a $5.00 cancellation fee. All Vegas casino properties now have Uber/Lyft. Note: Rates for both are higher during surge, which may happen with the NAB show in town.
If feeling ready to trek, the Tropicana is conveniently connected via pedestrian bridges to MGM Grand and Excalibur! When the tram drops you at Mandalay Bay Hotel, there is another 3/4 of a mile walk to get into the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. You can walk through interior of the connecting buildings.
